“As the sun sets on the last day of summer camp, the teenage counselors of Hackett's Quarry throw a party to celebrate. No kids. No adults. No rules.” 

2K Valencia Character Artists had the opportunity to assist the team at Supermassive Games in the creation of ‘50s and '80s era DLC character outfits for the interactive drama horror game, The Quarry, developed by Supermassive Games and published by 2K. 

Utilizing Marvelous designer and Zbrush for the Highpoly stage, we simulated and sculpted to match the standard of the dev team. We worked through the full tech side of the pipeline, all the way to texturing the base versions of the outfits. Then, with guidance from the Art Director, integrated the characters into the engine and polished them to finish. In true horror genre style, we killed the characters in an array of different ways, creating all manner of 3D gore: fire, ice and dismemberment!
