Our talented Environment Artists at 2K Valencia had the opportunity to work alongside the team at Firaxis Games in the creation of Buildings and Wonders for Sid Meier's Civilization VII, the latest chapter from the award-winning strategy franchise, developed by Firaxis Games and published by 2K Games.

Utilizing the 3DS Max and Substance Painter programs for the Texturing stage, we built an array of Buildings, Improvements, and Wonders to match the standards of the dev team, including the advancing build states of the Wonders. Then, with guidance from the Environment Team at Firaxis, we integrated the Buildings into Civ VII 's engine and polished them to a refined finish. It was a fantastic experience being able to assist in the creation of diverse natural and urban environments across Civ VII 's three distinct Ages: Antiquity, Exploration, and Modern, each with their own unique set of historic civilizations!
